Between 2014 and 2015 I continued my work as Self-Appointed Artist-in-Residence in the City of London, making around fifty rubbings of the fronts of banks located within the Square Mile. The frottages were made on used envelopes, the things banks send us information about our finances in. The rubbings capture a range of envelopes and building materials while also documenting the locations and names of banks in the City of London. The collection, as seen here, has been scanned and printed as A0 posters.
